Doris Temple

Doris Jean Temple, 90, of Gladstone, MO passed away on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospice House in Kansas City, MO. She was born on June 26, 1930 to Vern R. and Fern (Speer) Fisher in Bucklin, KS. She grew up in Kansas graduating from high school in Wichita, KS. On October 8, 1949 she was united in marriage to Robert D. Temple. After their marriage they lived in the greater Kansas City area. In addition to her parents, Doris was predeceased by her husband and son, Thomas Robert Temple and brothers Raymond and Robert Fisher. Doris is survived by daughter Terry (Ben Harrington); son Rick (Sandra) Temple; daughter-in-law Linda Temple; brother Gene (Karon) Fisher; sister-in-law Pat Fisher; sister-in-law Peggy Fisher and grandchildren Sunny (Corey) Jansen, Wesley (Nicole) Harrington, Sarah Temple (Ethan Hart); Jared Temple; Bailey (Derek) Bechtel and 4 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and many friends and neighbors. Private family graveside. In lieu of flowers, family and friends are making donations to Northland Shepard’s Center, 5601 NE Antioch Rd., Suite 12, Gladstone, MO 64119.
