Edward C. McIntyre II, of Kansas City, MO, passed away February 15, 2015. A Celebration of Life will be 10-11AM Saturday, March 7, 2015, at White Chapel Funeral Home, with a graveside service to follow. Edward was born October 25, 1941 to Edward and Helen (Winders) McIntyre in Toledo, Iowa. After graduating from Toledo High School, he went on to earn a BA in Business & Finance from Parsons College in Fairfield, Iowa in 1962. On September 14, 1963, Edward was united in marriage to Connie Novak at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Tama, Iowa. Ed was a very enthusiastic sports fan, an Oak Park HS booster and enjoyed many friendships in the restaurant business. Edward was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Connie. Survivors include his son, Jeff McIntyre, of San Diego, CA, his brother-in-law, Leonard Seda, & wife, Collette, and several nieces and nephews as well as his home-care companion, Larra Hendrix.
