Ed was born and raised in Richmond, MO; the son of Everett and Emily (McGuire) Foster. After growing up and graduating from high school in Richmond, MO., Ed met the love of his life - Margaret Isenhour of Liberty. They married in November 1949. Ed was a U.S. Army veteran in the reserves for 9 years. He enjoyed his many years in the insurance business. He worked hard hunting, fishing, and playing golf with his business associates and clients. He retired from Great American Insurance Company in 1995, but continued to work for Crop Hail Insurance Company for a few years. Ed and Margaret spent their early retirement years traveling and golfing. Ed loved his family first, he enjoyed family dinner’s together and spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Ed enjoyed playing golf and actually made two holes in one. Ed also enjoyed telling stories about all his many adventures and travels.
