Everett Eugene Shatto

Everett was the beloved husband of Debbie Lorene Shatto for 28 years. He was the loving father of Ryan Cletcher (Caillie), Chris Shatto, Sean Shatto (Victoria), and the late Troy Shatto (Teresa). Everett was the proud grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was the brother of Connie Cockerel (Larry), Debbie Roberts (George) and Ronnie Gates (Kim). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by parents Bill and Bertha Gates.

Everett joined the Navy in 1965. The Navy provided him with the training and foundation that would shape his civilian career, teaching him the electrical skills he would carry with him throughout his career of 43 years at Mark One. Everett had a deep love for golf, finding peace and joy on the course. It wasn’t just about the game-it was about the camaraderie, the quiet mornings, and the laughter shared with friends and family along the way.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Rd., Gladstone, MO 64119 on Monday, April 13, 2026 at 1:00 PM with Visitation from 11 AM until service time.
