F. Alan Hartmann passed away December 24, 2015 at NorthCare Hospice House. He was born July 31, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from Oak Park High School in 1969 and Central Missouri State University in 1973. Alan retired from KCP&L in 2011 after 30 plus years of service. He was a deacon at Fairview Christian Church, volunteered at Harvesters/Meals on Wheels and was a team captain for two years with Northland Relay for Life. Alan was preceded in death by his parents Fred C. Hartmann and Anna Hartmann, step-mother Chloris Hartmann and step-sister Carol Stephens. He is survived by his wife of 33 years Lisa Hartmann, sons Chris Hartmann and Brad Hartmann, step-brother Barry Steele, half-sister Bea Hauser-Burgi (Switzerland) and mother-in-law Virginia Testorff. He was a wonderful husband and dad who was dearly loved. In lieu of flowers, a memorable contribution can be made to Fairview Christian Church, Northland Relay for Life 2016, payable to The American Cancer Society, or donor’s choice. Visitation will be held from 6-8:00pm, Mon, Dec 28, funeral service will be held at 1:00pm, Tues. Dec 29, all at White Chapel Funeral Home.
