Frances Helen Love

Born in the County of Lancaster, England on July 7, 1937. She was the youngest of four siblings- all who have since passed.

After completing her cosmetology studies in England, Frances began her 55 year long career as a beautician. In 1958 Frances was married to JC Williams, of the US Air Force. Their first of two daughters, Cindy, was born in Crosby, England in 1959 and their second daughter, Donna, was born in KCMO in 1960.

Frances loved to take her daughters to see Broadway musicals at the Starlight Theatre, and when the Ice Capades came to town, she took them to see those shows as well. Having learned to ice skate as a British schoolgirl, she tried to teach her daughters to skate...to no avail!

Always stylish and well mannered, everyone agreed Frances was quite the lovely lady.

Frances met Howard Love in 1978. They were joined in marriage on July 24, 1981- just 5 days before the royal wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana. Of course that was no coincidence, since Howard and Frances had a true storybook romance- one befitting their last name, Love.

During their 43 years together Howard and Frances enjoyed many travels and adventures, shared together with family and friends.

After Howard passed away on September 10, 2021, Frances was not long to be without her love, and left us on November 3, 2021.

They are survived by Frances' daughters Cindy Clegg (Kelly O'Leary) and Donna (Larry) Hall, two grandchildren Julia Keedy and Paul (Angela) Clegg , and seven great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews in England and the US. Also, Howard's brother Thomas (Kathy) Love, their daughters Julie Love-Domeier, Susan (Chad) Genton and their two children.

Loved and missed by all, we take comfort in knowing they are together forever once more.

A celebration of life will be held at the White Chapel Funeral Home Mausoleum on Saturday, November 20, 2021. Visitation is from 12:30pm to 1:30pm followed by a memorial service from 1:30pm to 2:30pm for close friends and family.

Memorial contributions may be made to Ascend Hospice, the Parkinson's Foundation Heartland, and the Alzheimer's Association- Heart of America Chapter.
