

Gerald Dewayne Pattillo, age 56, departed this life on October 3rd, 2023 at North Kansas City Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Gerald was born on October 21st, 1966 in Kennett, Missouri to the late Richard Pattillo Sr. and Ernestine (Klutts) Pattillo.
In 1995, Gerald graduated with honors from Southwest Missouri State University with a degree in computer science. He was united in marriage to Paula Renee Loughary on April 15, 1989 in Malden, Missouri. Mr. Pattillo was a veteran who served two years in the Army reserves and four years of active duty in the United States Air Force where he received numerous metals, ribbons, and commendations for his service to his country during the Gulf War. After moving to Kansas City, Missouri, Gerald began working as a computer software designer and architect in various roles and was most currently employed by the USDA as a manager and Chief Enterprise Architect.
Gerald loved God, his family, and time with friends fishing, hunting, playing golf, drums, guitar and smoking various meats. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and adored the family pets, Apollo and Koko. His children remember him as a smart, witty, and encouraging father who supported their goals and dreams wholeheartedly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Ernestine; grandparents, Woodrow and Margarette Pattillo and Clifford and Jesse Klutts; as well as, four uncles, Lonnie Pattillo, Paul Roberts, Phillip Klutts and Jerome Klutts; one aunt, Joyce Ross and a great- niece, Hali Mikel Rice.
Gerald is survived by his wife Paula; daughter Alle (25); son Alex (21), all of the home; three brothers, Richard (wife Stephanie) of Malden, Missouri; Randall (wife Christy) of Auburndale, Florida; Aaron (wife Brandi) of Wentzville, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Geralds service is schedule for 5 – 8 pm on October 9th, 2023 at Newcomer’s White Chapel Funeral Home 6600 NE Antioch Road, Gladstone Missouri 64119; with military burial and honor services conducted at the Leavenworth National Cemetery 150 Muncie Road, Leavenworth, Kansas 66048 at 10 am on October 10th, 2023.
