Jack D. Metcalf, 81, of Gladstone, MO, passed away November 26, 2014. Visitation will be 10:30am Saturday December 6, 2014, at DW Newcomer’s White Chapel Mausoleum Chapel, with a memorial service to follow at 11:00am. Jack was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Blanche Metcalf, brother Marian Metcalf. Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years Glenda Metcalf of the home, 2 children Kendra Wooldridge (Bob) and Dana Collins (Greg) both of Kansas City, MO, 5 grandchildren Kyler and Garrett Wooldridge; Brent, Paige, and Shayla Collins. Jack served four years in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He worked 34 years for T.W.A. as a mechanic and retired in 1991. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. His best memories were those spent traveling and sharing time with friends and family at the lake.
