John Robert Elliott

He graduated from Northeast High School in 1958 and retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1978 as a Technical Sergeant. While he was in the Air Force he was stationed in many countries, Iraq, Iran, Turkey, Germany and Ben Wa Vietnam (during the Vietnam war) to name a few. Yet, he always said that there was no place like home.

John was a wonderful father and grandfather, he never missed any family functions, high school graduations or weddings for his grandchildren. For the past 33 years until Covid hit, he would have a weekly Tuesday night visit with his kids and grandkids; if perchance he missed a Tuesday night he would promptly be over the next evening.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Elsie Elliott.

He is survived by his only child Robert (Penny); three grandchildren Kendra, Kenneth John and Kensie; great granddaughter Jasey; sister Judy; niece Gina and nephew Jeff.

John is deeply loved and missed by his family.

Private services will be held by his loved ones.
