

Leonard was a kind and loving soul. He would do anything for his family and friends. He enjoyed laughing, telling jokes and he was forever boasting about his beloved Tennessee Titans Football Team. Leonard was a sideline coach for the Titans; giving plays to the team.
Leonard worked in the auto industry for over 30 years. His last employment was a Manager at Adient in Riverside, Missouri, where he was admired and greatly respected.
Leonard married the love of his life, Natasha on February 2, 2019, in their home and then they had another wedding on the beach in Montego Bay, Jamaica on April 27, 2019.
For the past two years, his beloved wife Natasha had been lovingly taking care of Leonard at their residence. She did this, all while working full time and maintaining the day to day household activities. Her faith and trust in God never wavered
At 8:10 am on February 18, 2024, with his beloved and faithful wife Natasha by his side, God gently and lovingly ushered Leonard into eternal rest.
Leonard leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Natasha Pirtle of Kansas City, MO; his eldest brother, Kenny Pirtle of Brownsville, TN; his sister, Barbara (Danny) Evans of Clarksville, TN; his youngest brother, Ocie “Glendale” Pirtle of Jackson, TN; his mother-in-law, Shirley Burton of Cambria Heights, NY; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Leonard was preceded in death by his mother; Mary Lou Pirtle; his father, L.G. Pirtle; and his brothers, Bruce, Thomas Earl, and Darnell Pirtle.
The repast will follow the burial in the dining area of Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Rd, Gladstone, MO 64119.
