She was born on September 9, 1927 in Breckenridge, Missouri to Walter S. and Eliza A. Johnson.
Lucille graduated from Breckenridge High School in 1949 and then attended Chillicothe Business School. She worked for the KC Southern Railroad from 1964, until her retirement in 1993 as a Revenue Accounting Clerk. She was an active member of the 1st Baptist Church in North Kansas City and Hopedale Baptist Church in Ozark, Missouri. Lucille moved to the Baptist Home Hilltoppers in 2003. In December of 2017, she then moved to the assisted living at the Baptist Home.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; 1 daughter, Connie; and a grandson, Wayne.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda; 3 sisters, Laranell, Jean, and Helen; and a brother, Russell; 3 grandchildren, Jeremy, Jennifer, and Melissa; and 8 great grandchildren.
