Luther E. Chrisman, 83, of Pleasant Valley, MO, passed away November 22, 2014, at Liberty Hospital, with his family at his side. He was a loving, faithful husband for 33 years, to Ruth Elnora Chrisman, who preceded him in death. He was born January 23, 1931 in Brown Station, MO to the late John C. Chrisman and late Arline Clara Tiffany. Luther’s faithful companion ”Sadie”, his dog, was by his side until the end. When asked ”who loves you the most”, he would reply “Sadie does!”. Luther was preceded in death by 3 daughters, Kathy Chrisman, Brenda Kaiser, Marsha Danner; son, Clifford Skidmore; 2 brothers, James and Arthur; and sister, Frances Bryant. Survivors include 5 children, Kenneth Chrisman and Ed Sullins both of the home, Beverly Coffey and husband, Randy Skidmore and wife, and Calvin Skidmore; 18 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Glenva, Ruthie, Brenda, Jenny, Kenny, and Janie Sullins for their acts of mercy and kindness at our time of need. Luther will be loved and missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral service will be at 2pm, Friday, November 28, 2014 at White Chapel Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
