Norman graduated from Mountain Grove High School, but spent most of his life as a resident of Independence. He worked at Allis-Chalmers, Lipton Tea and Sunshine Biscuit.
He loved driving -- anywhere and everywhere. Norman loved football and baseball and worked part-time at a baseball card shop in Independence. He enjoyed getting professional athlete autographs and attending concerts at the Uptown Theatre. He was a great fan of Pink Floyd. His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Concetta. Norman is survived by a son, Randy and his partner, Jerry; a step-son, Vincent; and Concetta's daughters.
Private family services will be held.
