Pamela S. Haynes

Pam was born on July 1, 1947, in North Kansas City, Missouri to Arthur Richard and Velma Jean Berry. She attended Park Hill Highschool graduating in 1965. She married the love of her life, Morris Haynes on May 6, 1967. They were married 51 years before his death in October of 2018. She was a lifelong residence of Northern Heights.

She began working as a teller at the Bank of Riverside and retired from the bank as assistant vice president. She ended her career in the accounting department at Executive Beechcraft. Then she became a full-time grandma, which was by far her favorite job. Pam loved to knit, every new baby got a sweater and hat, and usually a stocking with their name on it, she loved reading and putting together puzzles. Pam loved her church family at First Baptist Church of Northern Heights, she spent many years teaching Sunday school and VBS. She loved helping at whatever was needed for the promotion of Jesus Christ. She put God at the center of her life and her families.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Richard “Dick” and Velma Berry; her brother, Richard Berry; and her husband, Morris Haynes.

Pam is survived by her daughter, Malinda (Amos) Clampit of Kansas City, Missouri; her grandchildren, Tyler Roberson of Kansas City, Missouri, Amos Clampit, IV of Gladstone, Missouri, Isaac Clampit of Kansas City, Missouri, and Alyshia and Alicyn Clampit of Gladstone, Missouri, she also had four great grandchildren and one on the way.

A Homegoing Service is scheduled for 5 PM, February 28th, 2025, with a visitation from 4 to 5 PM, at 5 PM at First Baptist Church of Northern Heights (6311 NW Waukomis Drive, Kansas City, Missouri 64151)
