Patricia Novell Minnis

Patricia was a beloved wife for 47 years. She was a loving mother and a proud grandmother. Patricia loved to laugh, sing, and dance. She enjoyed teaching Sunday School lessons in the nursery at First Assembly of God, in Liberty, Missouri. She could often be found in the front yard watering her flowers or pulling weeds while a jug of sweet tea sat brewing in the sun. She liked to shop, buying things to decorate the home. It is lovingly laughed about her propensity for returning recent purchases, being unsatisfied for a variety of reasons only evident to her. She could be a bit onery. Enabled by a few loved ones who would sneak her the occasional vanilla milkshake. Patricia was generous, patient, and truly happy surrounded by her family and close friends. She will be deeply missed and will be forever loved by those who knew her, oodles, gobs, and bunches.

Patricia leaves behind her daughters Paula Beaty, Christi O’Dell, Melana Beaty, and Sarah Minnis. Her sister Judy Jones and her brother Richard Lowe. Her grandchildren David, Deanna, Bryan, Danielle, Christa, Cassidy, Aaron, Jason, and Valerie. 10 great grandchildren, a great-great granddaughter, lifelong friend Lu Ann Drinkwater, and her precious dog Minnie.

Along with her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Minnis, her son, Jeffery Beaty, and her siblings Billy, Don, Jeanette, Jewel, Bonnie, and Ed.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Home Going Celebration at the Relevant Church in Liberty, Missouri, on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 3:00 pm.
