

Perry Andrew Seaton, 73, passed away at his home on Monday, May 27, 2024. Perry was born September 11, 1950, in Kansas City, MO. After graduating from Shawnee Mission East High School in 1968, he went on to Kansas State University completing his degree in 1972. Perry spent nearly four decades within the Federal Government working for Health & Human Services. He then spent a few years working with Optum Insight Health Care before finally retiring in 2014.
Perry is remembered for his dedication to public service, knowledge of history, politics, and trivia, his comical amount of quirky sayings and jokes, and his vocal passion for cars and his loved ones.
Perry was preceded in death by his parents James (1983) & Francis (2003) Seaton, spouse Rosemary DeMarco Seaton (2022) although separated remained close as ever throughout the years. Perry is survived by his sister Linda Morrow of Maryland, Brother James Seaton (wife Catherine) of Massachusetts, his two children, Son, Nicholas Andrew Seaton (wife Kim), Daughter, Julie Ann Miller (husband John) and grand-daughter Aubrey Chrisp along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Perry’s wishes were to have no formal service. His final resting place will be the Columbarium Building at the Apostles Corridor at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Gladstone, MO. In lieu of flowers or any other donation to the family, please send to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in his name. A Casual celebration of life will be held at White Chapel in Gladstone on June 29th, from 2:30-4:00 PM.
