Ramon Zarate, 66, died unexpectedly on October 13, 2022. Ramon was born on September 17, 1956, Mexico City, Mexico to Ramon and Rosario Zarate. Ramon married Graciela, 1979. Ramon worked for TWA and American Airlines as an airplane mechanic before retiring in 2010. Over 8 years the couple had 3 children. His children remember him as a loving, caring, God-fearing, and hardworking father who encouraged them to pursue their goals. Ramon was a family oriented individual who loved spending time with his grandkids, keeping up with current events, and watching the Chiefs games. Ramon was passionate about leading others to Jesus Christ. He was an active and dedicated member of the Heartland Church – Iglesia de Cristo en Kansas City and went on missionary trips to Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador.
He is preceded in death by his Mother and Father, Rosario and Ramon Zarate.
Ramon is survived by his wife Graciela Zarate; children Ramon Enrique and Bertha (wife) Zarate, Ruben and Miriam (wife) Zarate, Michaela and Luis (husband) Carrillo; grandchildren Nick, Izel, Angel, Mia, Ginelle, Arlette, Luis, Evelyn, and Valentina.
