

He was born on February 7, 1954 in Gulfport, MS the son of Eugene Leon and Marian Elizabeth (Canning) Daniels. He served in the U.S. Army in the 82nd Airborne, then went on to graduate from Devry Institute of Technology in Dallas Texas.
He was married to Rene Anette Schafers on August 22, 1981 in Lincoln, NE. His Catholic faith guided him throughout his life. Together with his wife, Rene they raised 4 faithful children. Rick's passions were reading from his extensive library inherited from his parents, drawing, painting and being with his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Rene Daniels; daughters Melissa (Kurt) Montesano and Jennifer (Brett) Turner; sons Jason (Stephanie) Daniels and Eric Daniels; seven adoring grandchildren Allison, Vincent, Henry, Lucas, Amelia, William and Joshua; brothers Eugene Daniels, Howard (Sherry) Daniels, William (Mary) Daniels; and sisters Lucy (Fred) Murphy, Nola (Steve) Ladner and Rise Daniels.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Howard (Nola) Canning and paternal grandparents Melvin (Ida) Daniels, and his infant sister, Patty.
Rick will be lovingly remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, many extended family members and friends.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. and Rosary at 7:00 pm. at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, Gladstone, MO on Monday, May 27,
A Rosary will be held on Tuesday, May 28th at 10:30 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church.
Burial will follow the mass at White Chapel Funeral Home with a Luncheon for all family and friends at St. Andrew the Apostle Church following the burial. Please join us!
