

Robert Warren Elliott, 87, of Gladstone, MO, entered into eternal peace on, Thursday, June 9, 2016. He will be remembered as a gentle, kind man with a great wit and sense of humor. Robert Warren Elliott was born in Mosby, MO to Elizabeth and John Elliott on December 16, 1928. He and Marion (Sharp) Elliott were married on August 1, 1954 in Camden, MO at Camden United Methodist Church. Robert graduated from Central Technical Institute and began his career with WGEM Radio in Quincy, Illinois and KARD TV in Wichita, Kansas. In 1958, he joined Federal Aviation Administration as an Electronic Technician for 35 years. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and was stationed in Germany. He was a member of NARFE and The VFW. Robert was a family man and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his pride and joy. He devoted much of his life to making memories with them to last a lifetime. He was known for his timely jokes, always seizing the perfect moment to make a smile. Robert enjoyed golfing, fishing, traveling with his wife, and serving his community through his church. He proudly spent time delivering Meals on Wheels for 11 years. Robert is preceded in death by parents, his siblings Cecil Elliott, Mabel Horstmann, Jay Elliott, and Mary Katherine Marriott. Robert is survived by his loving wife Marion Elliott; his children Erin Beaman, Michael and Dawn Elliott; his grandchildren Andrea and Jared Eatinger, Nicholas and Amanda Briones, Tyler and Melanie Elliott, and Bailey and Patrick Malone; and his great-grandchildren Christopher, Ayla, Kade and Ianna. Robert is also survived by one sister, Edna Means. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Faubion United Methodist Church, Gladstone, MO. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Gladstone, MO. Family suggests memorial gifts to Faubion United Methodist Church.
