He was born January 19, 1936, in Montrose, Missouri, to Charles and Clara Firsick.
Robert married Glenda J. Firsick, on August 31, 1957, and had one child, Michael J. Firsick.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Clara Firsick. Robert was also preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Glenda J. Firsick.
Robert is survived by his son, Michael J. Firsick and wife Lisa; one grandchild, April Listhartke and husband Ben; one sister-in-law, Ruth Ann Hardie and husband Bob; one sister, Carol Shirkey; one brother, Kenny Firsick; one niece, Dana Cook and husband Brian; one nephew, Troy Hardie and wife Laurie; as well as many more nieces and nephews.
Robert was a great husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He loved fishing with his son, granddaughter, and daughter-in-law. Before age caught up with him, he enjoyed elk, moose, deer and quail hunting with his friends, Archie Buttram, Frank Mattivi Sr., Sealtest and son Michael.
Robert and Glenda traveled throughout the USA in their travel trailer after retirement. Most of all he loved spending time with family and his precious granddaughter, April.
A visitation for Robert will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Road, Gladstone, Missouri, 64119 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM; with funeral services starting at 11:00 AM, burial will follow in the White Chapel Cemetery.
