Bob was born on April 17, 1945, in Kansas City, Missouri to Ival and Alice Fisher. Bob married Linda in 1988. He spent most of his career working as a mechanic for TWA/American Airlines. Linda didn’t come alone, she was a package deal with two kids, Kolter and Amber Miller. They remember him as kind, gentle, and someone who was always there for them.
Some may not know that Bob was also a professional roller skater! Those skills translated well to the dance floor which is where Bob swept Linda off her feet. Bob was a chatty individual who loved anything with a motor and was passionate about classic cars and motorcycles. He would bring home about anything he could sneak in without getting in too much trouble once it was found. He was an active and dedicated member of the HOG Club; he traveled all over the country with Linda by his side.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Ival and Alice of Kansas City as well as his sister Suzanne Foster of Pleasant Hill.
Bob is survived by his Wife Linda, Kolter Miller (Stephanie) and Amber Miller (Jake), grandsons Skylar Austin, Liam VanDerhoef, Kale Miller, Kolin Miller, and great-granddaughter Aviera Austin. He is also survived by nephews Don Smarker (Lana), Kansas City, Brian Smarker (Scarlet), Excelsior Springs, niece Sheila Scarborough, great-nephew Tanner Smarker, and great-nieces Caitlyn Yuille, Jourdyn Smarker, and Shea Hatcher.
