Roy L. Cook passed away at home on Oct. 26, 2016. He was born on March 13, 1938 in Hamden, MO to Oscar and lla Porter Cook. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Betty; sons, Dan and Jeff; 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; and sisters, Twila (Herb) Smith, Lila Rogers, Independence, MO, and Frances Asher, Louisville, KY; brother, Andy (Karen) Cook, Raytown MO; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Sam Cook, and a sister, lvah McNeall. He was an owner of Cook Bros. lnsulation, lnc. for 32 years. Service 11:00 am, Saturday, October 29, 2016 at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Rd., Gladstone, MO 64119. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at 3:00 pm, Saturday at Beulah Cemetery, Salisbury, MO. ln lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, Briarcliff Church or NorthCare Hospice.
