Teresa "Teri" Jo Shanahan Duncomb

Teri was born January 30, 1960 in North Kansas City, MO to Stephen Shanahan and Judy Shanahan (Woolery) Eckhart.

Teri graduated from Oak Park High School in 1978. She retired from NYP Inc after 12 years due to her illness. She and Russ Locascio were married May 31, 1980. They welcomed sons Chris and Ryan. Teri then married her husband Steven Duncomb December 15, 2010 after becoming engaged in Ireland while on a family trip. She enjoyed traveling to Jamaica and Ireland with Steven and family. She cherished her Irish heritage!

She is survived by her husband Steven, mother Judy Eckhart (Step-father Duane), sons Christopher Locascio (Erin) and Ryan Locascio (Julie), grandchildren Gavin Locascio, Delaney Locascio, and Jasper Locascio, brother Aaron Shanahan (Sonja), step-sister Debbie Kroll (Dave), niece Kylie Gonzales and cousin Jill Woods.

She was preceded in death by her father Stephen Shanahan, grandparents John and Marion Shanahan, Ivan and Nellie Howard, Fred Woolery, and Evelyn (Woolery) and Wyatt Van Erp.

Her family wants to thank the tender care by Dr. Jeremy Flanagan and the nurses at the KU Cancer Center and KC Hospice Care. Donations in memory of Teri are suggested to KU Med for Cancer Research.
