Terry volunteered many hours with his Bangkok church, Immanuel Baptist. He helped in the underserved communities, bringing food, supplies, as well as toys and activities for the children after church services every week and went on several mission trips to orphanages around Thailand. Terry also developed the Young Leaders Group, a few young men who met in his condo eating pizza and discussing the how to be a living example of Christ in today’s world. They quickly grew and moved to a larger room at the church. The Young Leaders Group has developed many young men and women over the years and continues to this day.
Although Terry graduated from Missouri Western and Northwest Missouri State, his heart and soul belonged to The University of North Carolina, especially their baseball program. He converted many Thai and English friends into Tarheel fans over the years.
