Mom spent the last few weeks of her life in hospice. Cancer had spread from her lungs to her brain and bone. She was in tremendous pain until we went to hospice. It was tough! We prayed with her and sang to her. She loved to pray and would knock the nurses out of the way if someone wanted to pray with her. I watched her grow weaker every day. One day near the end, I got down close to her face and started to pray. She opened her eyes and I noticed they looked different. I can't express it accurately, but they looked dim - like they were fading. As I tried to hold back my emotions, I had a beautiful realization - the "stuff" of earth was growing dim, but a new sight and new vision was coming in the light of His glory and grace. She was about to see clearly for the first time in her life! I am so grateful for that comfort. I will miss her everyday, but because her Redeemer lives, she is too. 

I'll never forget the  sweet  Flower Grandmother at Shannon's wedding!  Just delightful!  Love you forever Sweet Blowers Family
