She was born on January 10, 1944, in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of Bennie Oliver and Lula Lavone (Arbuckle) Van Buskirk. Vicki grew up in the Northland until she left at the age of 21, moving to California. Vicki’s passion was traveling the world and loved spending time in nature. Among Vicki’s hobbies, she enjoyed making pottery, gardening and painting nature scenes.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bennie and Lula Van Buskirk; one sister, Jo Ann King; and one nephew, William Payne.
Vicki is survived by two twin sisters, Carol Jean and Cheryl Sue Van Buskirk; one brother, Bennie Michael Van Buskirk (Carol); nieces and nephews, Jennifer Payne, Nicholas Van Buskirk, Nathanial Van Buskirk, and Stacy Mantalvanos, Tina Wright; great nieces and nephews, Jared Myers, Brooke Myers, and Madison Myers.
