

He was born on November 17, 1945, in Atchison, Kansas, to Robert Louis and Mary (Muncie) Miller. He graduated from Lillis High School in 1964, and lived in Kansas City, most of his life.
He was retired from American Can Company and Iatan Power Plant. He was also a baker at several local grocery stores.
In 1966, William married the love of his life, Maureen Barnes. They enjoyed traveling and made several trips across the United States. He was also a BIG FAN of the Kansas City Chiefs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary Miller; his son, Jason Thomas Miller of Kansas City, Missouri; and his two sisters, Cecelia Sue Miller of Kansas City, Missouri and Bonita (Bonnie) Miller Morrison of Ardmore, Oklahoma.
William is survived by his wife, Maureen, of almost 60 years; his son, John Miller of Kansas City; and his brother, Robert Louis (Bob) Miller, Jr. and wife Carol of Fort Myers, Florida.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Road, Gladstone, Missouri, 64119, followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
