passed away on October 10, 2011. Agnes Marie Klaus, beloved wife and mother passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on 10-14-11. Born in Highland II. on January 26th 1925, to Leo and Anna Tschannen. When WW II was over she married her sweetheart Leo and moved to Arizona, where they built a wonderful life and raised their family. Agnes was involved with the Special Olympics, and was famous for the homemade treats she brought to bowling and other events. Mom loved going on trips long and short. She and Leo drove up to Alaska several times. Her most memorable trip was to see the lighthouses on the Oregon coast. Her favorite spot in Arizona were the red rocks of Sedona. Agnes is survived by her husband of 65 years, Leo and 5 children. Daughter Debbie (Rick). Sons Scott (Sherri), Bobby, Jay (Judi), and Steve (Cathy). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funerak Services will be Thursday at 1:00 P.M. at West Resthaven Funeral Home located at 6450 W. Northern in Glendale. Burial will be in Resthaven Park Cemetery and friends may call one hour before service time.
