Uncle Cris was very special to me.  I remember when he was saved at Highland View Baptist Church one Wednesday night, December 1989.  We all rejoiced together knowing that when life down here was finished he would be rejoicing in heaven.  He is doing that right now, praise The Lord.  We will all miss his larger than life voice, and the love he had for his family.  
Our heart felt sympathy go out to Aunt Beryl, JoAnne, Michael, Kevin, and all of the grandchildren and other family members. We love you all, and pray that God will wrap His arms of love and mercy around you with His comfort.

Dearest brother, oh how I will miss you.  Always looking out for your younger sister.  Bossing me around, but I always knew you were doing it out of love. I am so glad you found Beryl even if you had to go to England to  find her, and then she became my sister. You always made a huge impression wherever you went ; larger than life and not to be ignored.  But we all knew the kind and generous heart you could not hide.  The kind of heart that overflowed with empathy and generosity for those in need. I am a lucky person to have you for my brother.  I love you and will see you again.

We just wanted to say how special Uncle Cris was to us.  We are thankful for the times that we were able to stop and visit with him and Aunt Beryl on our way to California with a load.  He loved seeing us!  If it was on a Sunday night he would fix his famous hotdogs with bbq sauce and onions! YUM
You will be missed but you are in a much better place HEAVEN-  We love you and will see you again soon!
