She was born in Cleveland, Ohio.
Her greatest love was for her family. She was married to her husband, Les McElroy for nearly 49 years, despite only knowing each other for three months prior to tying the knot. She had a passion for playing bingo, decorating shows, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her loving husband, Les McElroy, her favorite daughter, Heather Bensing and Heather's significant other Ann Hedge, her favorite granddaughter Savannah Bensing, and her favorite grandson, Jared Bensing, devoted sister, Roberta Osburn, and assorted Sister-In-Laws and Brother-In-Law.
