Corinne May Prazak

81 of Sun City, Arizona, peacefully went to our Lord on March 21, 2013. Born Sept 7, 1931 in Sutton, NE, daughter of John and Sylvia Rauscher, Connie was raised on a farm with her brother Ron. The family moved to Lincoln, NE where Connie attended college, then worked as a comptroller operator with Conoco Oil. She moved to North Platte, NE and met her beloved husband Ladd Prazak. Married in October 1958, the couple moved to Sidney, NE where they had the first of 4 children. They called Phoenix home in 1961 where they raised their growing family. Connie joined the Phoenix chapter of the Alpha Ro (now Alpha Pi) philanthropic sorority and became its president for a term and also received recognition for her 50 years of service. The sorority introduced Connie and Ladd to many friends who became dear, lifelong friends. She became an avid fan of Sun Devils football, and they enjoyed meeting up with good friends who were also season ticket holders for over 20 years. Connie enjoyed being with family, socializing with friends, backyard barbeques, traveling, going out to eat, playing bunco, going to casinos, doting on her grandchildren, as well as making people laugh. Her cheerful disposition radiated to all that were in her presence. Connie's upbeat caring attitude, along with her beautiful laughter and smile, will fondly be remembered in the wonderful memories we have and will live forever in the hearts by all that came to know and love her. Connie touched many lives and we will all miss her dearly. Connie is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Terry) Prazak; Janell Prazak; Jerome (Michele) Prazak; Janette (Josh) Olson; and her grandchildren Michael and Cheryl Prazak; Brandon, Brent, and Jordan Prazak; Madison and Makayla Olson as well as numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and good friends. Visitation will be held 5-8pm Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Chapel of the Chimes 7924 N. 59th Ave. Glendale. Memorial services are 10:30am Thursday, March 28th at Chapel of the Chimes followed by Interment at Resthaven Dignity 6450 W. Northern Ave. Glendale.
