Curtis Edward Antie

Curtis Edward Antie, age 78 passed away on Friday, February 3, 2023 in Glendale, Arizona. He was born on December 1, 1944 in Ridgeway, Louisiana to Whitney and Corrine Antie. He attended high school in Louisiana and entered the United States Air Force. After his service , Curtis worked for Fry's Retail Grocery chain as a meat cutter, he was a member of Union UFCW 99. He also worked as a retail clerk with Frys and lated retire after 42 years of service. Curtis was a brother in The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints Sahuaro Ranch Ward.

Curtis loved the outdoors, doing yard work and getting the mail. He enjoyed meeting with his " McDonald's gang" at the local McDonalds restaurant every morning. He also liked to attend car shows, yard sales and eating out. As a veteran, Curtis attended the Luke Air Force Base annual Luke Days event. He loved his country, family and friends.

Curtis is survived by his daughters Julie Purselley , Kristie Tubb; grandchildren, Georgie, Tyler, Sara and Joe; great grandchildren Derek and Baylee; sisters Yvonne Marks and Audrey Richards. He is preceded in death by his wife of 50+ years Lynda Lee, daughter Aarin Lee, parents Whitney and Corrine, brother James Thomas, brother Herbert and Cecil.

A Visitation for Curtis will be held Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 North 59th Ave, Glendale, Arizona. A Funeral service will occur Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 7924 North 59th Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301. A graveside service will occur Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 W Northern Ave, Glendale, Arizona.
