Donald (Don) G. Ray Jr, 76, passed away on November 11, 2015 at home in Heber-Overgaard. Visitation will be held at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home at 7924 North 59th Ave, Glendale, 85301 on November 20th at 10:00 am followed by Funeral service at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, at 23029 North Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, 85024 at 1:30 pm. Don was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 9, 1939. He graduated from Burroughs High School in Ridgecrest, CA in 1957. He went on to join the Marine Corps and served in Guam. He worked as a Superintendent for Del E. Webb Construction for thirty five years. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. Don is survived by his wife, Marion F. Ray, daughters Debbie Davis (Rich), Cindra Ray Salisbury (Jim), and Kim Turczyn (Gerry), son Boyd Hickman, sister, Donna Davidson (Gary), five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Edward G. Ray (with former spouse Elinore J. Graham), and parents Donald G. Ray Sr, and Eileen T. Ray.
