Eva Maldonado Castillo

Eva Maldonado Castillo, 55, passed away on June 27, 2020 after a three-year long battle with breast cancer. She was born in Salinas, California, on October 1, 1964 to parents Frank and Maria Maldonado. When she was very young, Eva’s family moved to Arizona and Arizona would become her home for the rest of her life.

Eva loved beads and jewelry. She enjoyed spending her time crafting pieces out of her bead collection and was always wearing some sort of jewelry.

Eva is survived by her mother Maria Maldonado, sister MaryLou Maldonado, husband Frank Castillo, as well as her nephew Alexis Gomez, niece Delia Careaga, and two great nieces Luciana and Milana Gomez.

Eva was a great daughter, a caring sister, and a loving aunt. A truly caring person, Eva would give you the shirt off her back if she knew it would help. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, funeral services will be private. Eva will be laid to rest at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Glendale.
