Evelyn "Evie" Christiansen entered into eternal rest Tuesday, December 30, 2014. A longtime resident of Glendale, Arizona, Evie is survived by husband Richard "Chris": her children Wayne, Joanne, Karen, Elvin, Lloyd, Vicky, Roy and Kayleen; her 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 4 great great- grandchildren. She was preceded into rest by her first husband Walter Glover, sons Gary & Ryan Glover and granddaughter Britni. Evie retired after a long career as manager of Shamrock Mobile Home Park. Her greatest love was her family and her friends. The family gratefully decline flowers in lieu of donations to the Glendale Fraternal Order of Eagles and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 6 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Services will be held Wednesday, January 7th at 11:00 am at the Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 N 59th Ave., Glendale, AZ, with interment immediately after at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Glendale. Reception will immediately follow at the Glendale VFW, 7618 N 63rd Ave., Glendale.
