Gerald (Jerry) Rademacher, 81, of Peoria, AZ died September 29, 2013 at his daughter Sue’s home in Glendale, AZ surrounded by his loving family. Jerry was born on June 6, 1932 to Herman and Marcella Rademacher in Lake City, MN.
Jerry served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He retired from the United States Postal Service as a letter carrier. He married Mary Reincke and they had 4 children together. Cindy Bender (Rick), Diane Bottcher (Don), Mark, (deceased as an infant), Bruce Rademacher (Sue). Jerry later married Marge Grant. Marge brought her son Steve Grant (Naomi) into the family. Jerry and Marge had 2 children of their own, Jerry Jr. (Erin) and Sue Demeter (Dave). He lost Marge to cancer in 1981.
Even though Jerry spent his retirement years dancing, farming in Minnesota, and traveling the United States, family always came first.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman & Marcella Rademacher. He is survived by his children, sisters Jean Beck, Isabell Blattner (Milton), Marlene Wallerich (Dick), and brother Donald Rademacher (Phyllis). Jerry was also blessed with 15 grandchildren and 4 great grand children.
