Gloria Ruby Cobos

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful mother, Gloria Ruby Cobos (Perez), born on June 18th, 1944. She departed from this world on July 5th, 2024, at the age of 80, after her recent battle with Leukemia. Surrounded by family, she bravely faced her final days with peace and acceptance, and welcomed her journey to heaven.

She peacefully passed away with her two daughters Barbara Salazar De Lucca & Michelle Urías Salazar by her side. It was an honor to know that she labored to bring us into this world, and it was our privilege to be there to support her as she labored to exit this world.

Ruby, as she was affectionately known, was a beacon of light and laughter for her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Victor Cobos; her parents, Moses and Bertha Perez; and her son, Danny Enriquez.

Ruby leaves behind a legacy of love of the Lord through her surviving family: her daughters, Michelle Urias Salazar and Barbara De Lucca (Darren); Grandchildren Daniel Encinas, Isaiah Encinas, Maile De Lucca, Nainoa De Lucca and great grandchild Moses De Lucca. Ruby’s siblings include Sharon (Edward) Navarro, Richard Perez, Robert (Darlene) Perez, and Darrell (Nellie) Perez.

Ruby's life was marked by her love of flamenco, dancing, music, decorating, shopping and love of the Lord. Her memory will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her infectious personality. We can only imagine her dancing for Jesus and free from all pain!

A celebration of Ruby's life will be held to honor her memory and the impact of sharing God’s word that she had on so many. Flowers can be sent to Breakthru Community Church. Pastor located on site to receive them. Our mom loved roses. Please wear white to celebrate her homecoming or black is also welcome with a pop of red.
