Remembering you is a daily activity.  Every day there is some reason, big or small, for a thought or memory to come to mind. That is just one of the gifts you have left me with.

The last visit I had with Harvey he said to me as I was leaving,  (in his  New York accent) “ love ya Bob’s” and then he said “ I love ya a bushel and a Pechman” I will forever hear him saying that to me. He was a very special guy. I miss him so already.

Our sweet Harvey loved to play poker. He would tell me how much he missed going to the casino so I suggested that we make a stop after his doctors appointment. Of course Harvey didn’t believed they had poker at Casino Arizona and me being a bit of a gambler myself assured him I know just the spot. 
We get there and sit at the table that deals poker. He tells me this is not poker. I just laughed and gave the dealer my money. Now, I’m not a poker player but I assumed that I’m sitting next to the master, I can’t lose. 
I get my cards and I turn to Harvey and ask what I should do. He just tells me this is not poker. I chuckled and just stayed not really thinking of my cards, trying to show him that this is Texas hold’em. Needless to say I lost. That went on a few more times until I’m broke and Harvey looks at me and just says “I don’t know what you’re doing, you aren’t playing smart!” We packed up and drove back home. Best and shortest casino experience ever.
Harvey  went through so much with his health, I’m glad he is not suffering anymore. However, he will be greatly missed by some many. Harvey was such a kind man! 
Love you Harvey and know that you will always be in my heart ❤️

He was the biggest softie you could ever meet. If you found a kitten and wanted to bring it home, he would go buy it food and cat litter. If you had a friend who was pregnant, he would move them in and buy formula and baby clothes. If your friend got out of jail, he would bring them food from his work.  Yes, I asked him for all those things and more, and they were mine without hesitation. Everyone always says that I took care of him, but he honestly took care of me every bit as much and more. I owed him a giant debt of gratitude, and I was happy to repay him. 25 years was not enough.
