She was born on July 11, 1925 to the late Stephen and Johanna (Kobida) Kasala in Chicago, Illinois. Irene worked at various positions at Motorola for over 20 years. She is predeceased by her late husband Marzo Allen Kennedy and son David Kennedy.
Irene will be remember for her zest for life, her love for friends and family, and her deep connection with the Lord. In her heyday, Irene loved to dance the polka, and she was often spotted engaging her grandchildren in card games, dominoes and chicken foot.
Irene is survived by three loving sons Kenneth, Daniel, Stephen; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
