To Mike's Family

Mike and I were two guys/like one. We worked together as a partnership for the Telephone company for several years in Phoenix. My wife and I moved to Ocala, FL in 2005 and Mike and I both finally ended up our careers with Centurylink.

We lost track of each other because of the move and I was just now seeking to re - locate Mike since I retired and moved back to Arizona. I am so sad to learn of Mike's passing. Next to my wife, Pete (who passed away in April of 2016) Mike was the best friend I have ever had in my life.

I am so sorry, Kelly, Sammie, Casey, Michael, Mom and Dad. What a wonderful man. The tears are here. I know this is late, but if there is anything I can do for you please let me know.

Mike Wheeler you were one of the best friends I had in High School. It was always an adventure hanging out with you. Thank you for the beautiful pure memories.

Mike had a way of coming in to my life and out again over the years. He was a great friend from the first day while stationed at Sheppard AFB for Tech School, Then again when he moved to Maryland later. What a surprise when he called me out of the blue and told me that he was living in the area. We worked together for years in Maryland. I relocated to Richmond Virginia and he was passing through the state and Mike just had to drop by to say hello. That's just the way Mike was. What a great friend to have. I have not kept in touch with Mike as much as I should have, but I always considered Mike a very close friend. And I may have lost a friend but God has found an angel.  
Rest in peace my friend, and save me a seat at the table my friend I will see you again

I want to give my deepest sympothy to Mike's Family. I was stationed @V.A.F.B. with Mike in the late 70's and early 80's. At that time Mike was a close friend. I'm sorry I do not have the words to ease the pain you are experiencing, But Mike will not be forgoten By me and many others.
