June Angel

Angel, June (Henderson), of Glendale AZ passed away on December 29, 2013. Born in Trion, Georgia on August 18, 1936 to Gordon and Dessie Mae Henderson. June was a long time resident of Chicago IL where she was a waitress for 17 years and an entrepreneur for 39 years. June is survived by her loving children Robert Arnold, Glenda ‘Pandy’ Rabe (William) and Steven Jin. Proud grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Loving sister of Betty Jenkins, Charlotte Arnold and John Gordon Henderson. Predeceased by her son Michael Jin and siblings Alfred Henderson, Barbara Prince, Polly Vaughn, Martha Nation and Franklin Henderson. Special aunt to many nieces and nephews. June was a long time member of Calvary Community Church.

Visitation will be held at Wilson Funeral Home, 215 Lee Avenue Chickamauga, Georgia on Sunday January 5th from 3-8 pm. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday January 6th at 1pm. Interment will follow at Chickamauga City Cemetery.
