Karen Lynn Courtway

Karen Lynn Courtway, 60, of Glendale, Arizona passed on November 22, 2023. She was born July 6,1963 to Clifton Conley Jr. and Juanita Sparks in St.Louis Missouri. Karen worked at the St Vincent De Paul Watkin Center as a dispatch driver from 1993 to 2008. She married to Joseph Eugene Courtway in 1990 in St.Louis Missouri.

Karen loved shopping especially loved shoes! She was always looking for a deal and loved thrift shopping.

She loved making beaded jewelry and crocheting. She was an amazing cook and loved to grill. We loved her spaghetti and always buttered and jellied our biscuits just right! Her pass time was puzzle games her favorite was sudoku.She was always telling the grandkids scary stories and they loved it.

Karen is survived mother Juanita Mead of St. Louis; brother Robert Horton Jr. of St Louis; her husband of 33 years Joseph Courtway; four children Crystal Conley, Amy Thurman, Drew Conley and Cory Conley; seven grandchildren Alexis Jaurigue, Jordan Jaurigue, Sethen Ohmer, Amelia Ohmer, Emily Ohmer, Elizabeth Ohmer and Christopher Conley; one great-granddaughter Jada Rue Turner. She is preceded in death by her father Clifton Conley Jr. and beloved sister Kathrine Frank.
