Katarino Herman Samo

He was born on December 29, 1954 on the Island of Chuuk, part of the Federated States of Micronesia, to the late Herman and Kenopepa Samo.

Kat married Julia Mesa on August 5, 1978; they have shared 42 years of marriage.

Kat is survived by his wife Julia, sons Katarino, Panuel & daughter Kate & five siblings Iasinta, Marcus, Andrew, Erna & Bibiana. He is also survived by his niece Elinora, whom he loved like a daughter, and her children Cincer, Eli & Lierati, who were like grandchildren to him and Julia.

A memorial service to celebrate Katarino’s life will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 3PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale.
