After a long and healthy life, Katherine Louise Jennings (Butz), 91, peacefully passed away on April 30, 2013, with family at her side. She was born to Charles Jerome and Mary Ellen Butz in Florence, CO, on August 23, 1921. She married her high school sweetheart, Wesley Ross Jennings on May 14, 1943. Katherine was a wonderful domestic engineer, with her family, friends, and faith always the center of her life. She loved traveling, sports, card and board games, and an occasional visit to the casinos. She was preceded in death by her husband Ross Jennings, 8 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by her children Ron (Janice), L'Jeane Fairbourn (Greg), Bruce (Carla); 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Friday, May 3 from 5-8pm (Rosary at 7pm) at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 N. 59th Ave., Glendale, AZ. Funeral mass will be 1:30pm Saturday, May 4 at Brophy Chapel, 4701 N. Central Ave., Phoenix, AZ.
