Larry Wayne Simmons passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022 peacefully at home at the age of 83. He was born on February 9, 1939 to Russell and Brunette Simmons in Mesa, Arizona. Larry was a lifetime Arizona resident.
Larry is survived by his wife, Retha, daughter Sherry Aguilar (George), grandsons Anthony Aguilar (Jennifer) and Phillip Garza, his sister, Marion Wallis and 3 great-grandchildren: Jeremy, Calistra and Georgia.
In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by children Timothy, Carmen, Judy and Kathy, his sister Carol Pruett and his brother Darrell Simmons.
A visitation for Larry will be held Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 12:00 PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home (6450 W. Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301) followed by a funeral service with burial at 1:00 PM.
