The family of Lena Romano sadly announces her passing on January 10, 2012. Lena is preceded in death by her husband Frank. Lena was born in Brooklyn, NY on August 16th, 1921. She retired to Arizona after a long teaching career in NY. Lena enjoyed trips to Las Vegas and Laughlin, crossword puzzles, reading, time at the Senior Center with friends, but most of all, her family was the joy of her life and we will all miss her very much. Lena is survived by her Sister Grace Filadelfo, Brother Louis Monaco, Daughters Linda Demko-Wilson (and husband Toby) and Joyce Ragon (and husband Mike), Grandchildren Cheryl, Joseph, Kristen, Jennifer and Christina and Great Grandchildren Collin, Allison, Jason, Emma and MJ. Visitation: Monday, January 16, 2012, from 5-8pm at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ. Funeral Mass: Tuesday, January 17, 2012, at 10:30am at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, 6180 West Utopia Road, Glendale, AZ.
