She was born on September 7, 1933 in McAllen, Texas to the late Ernesto and Rosa Blanco.
Helen married Manuel Torres on July 25, 1951; they shared over 68 years of marriage prior to his passing on December 26, 2019.
She is survived by her four children Andrea (Jeff) Morris, Dolores (Dave) Fernandez, Manuel Torres, Jr. & Jose (Christina) Torres, three sisters Martha Molina, Paula Silva & Cesaria Gaglio, 11 grandchildren Mark, Matthew, Sonny, Roberta, Michael, Suzanne, Scott, Samantha, Joseph, Priscilla & Isaiah, 17 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Helen was preceded in death by a son Camuel, four siblings Isaac Blanco, Ernesto Blanco, Joshua Blanco & Maria Lechuga and grandson Hiram.
Family and friends are invited to a funeral service on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 10AM at The Church, 725 N. Central Avenue, Avondale, AZ 85323. Burial will follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale.
