He was born on May 24, 1933 in Phoenix to the late Manuel and Manuella Garcia.
Manuel married Connie Uranga in March 1971. After a long and loving marriage, she preceded him in death in February 2019. In additional to Connie, Manuel was preceded by his parents, sister Ramona Edwardson, and brother Jesse Rios Garcia.
He is survived by his daughter Sandra Vargas, son Manuel Garcia, Jr., eight grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, brother Gilbert Garcia, and four sisters Olivia Silva, Mary Garcia, Toni Bastian, and Julia Ibarra.
Family and friends are invited to Rosary on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W Northern Avenue, Glendale at 8:30AM. Funeral services will begin at 9AM. Burial will follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery.
