Marcella M. Tekstar

Born on July 3, 1938, in Sewickley, Pennsylvania, Marcella moved to Glendale, Arizona in 1972 where she resided until her death.

Marcella became a widow at a young age and worked very hard raising her 2 children. She was a successful entrepreneur, very charitable and always put others first. She was a devoted Mother, Grandmother and was blessed to become a Great-Grandmother.

A long-time member of the OLPH Catholic Church, Marcella's faith was her strong foundation. She found joy in spending time with her family and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She loved to play Cards, Dominoes and Farkle, while competitive she was also supportive and the life of the party - the memories will be cherished forever.

Marcella was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Tekstar, mother, Ruth Musloe, father, Charles Holman, Stepmom Agnes "Toots" Holman, and brother Art Holman. She is survived by her son, Charles "Chuck" Tekstar, daughter Ruth Tekstar, granddaughters, Raeanne Bouchard, Stacy Tekstar-Prause, Cassie Tekstar and great-granddaughters, Jovie Bouchard and Mikayla Prause. Brother Robert "Jake" Holman, and sisters, Mary Percell, Cathy Sellers, Patricia "Tish" Pickrell and Dorothy Martin.

Marcella's life was a testament to her faith, loving spirit and unwavering dedication to those she held dear. She will be greatly missed and always in our hearts.

A visitation will be held on October 3, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at the Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, located at 7924 North 59th Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301.

A funeral service will follow at the same location from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.

The graveside service will take place at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 West Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm on October 3, 2025.
