She was born on April 2, 1934, in a small town in West Germany and grew up in Trier, West Germany. She met and married Edward Wenzler in August of 1957 and moved to the United States and later to Arizona in 1971.
Marianne built and maintained a loving and comfortable home for her 3 children and many others -- friends, family and strays while working part-time in retail.
Her compassion for the “underdog” was matched by no one and her love for beautiful things -- flowers and anything colorful made her special and beautiful herself.
She is survived by her 3 adult children, a daughter-in-law, 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at West Resthaven Funeral Home, located at 6450 West Northern Avenue, Glendale, Arizona, on June 26, 2025, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.
The funeral service will follow at the same location, beginning at 11:30 am.
A graveside service is scheduled at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 West Northern Avenue, Glendale, Arizona, at 12:30 pm on the same day.
